I didn't know the age limit for recruitment in the Army was 42?
I thought it was younger...

I thought 42 was if you had prior military service (i.e. basic training and an MOS) ... no??

Hope,,,Did I ever tell you I turned 49 years old in Iraq? Forty Nine Years Old...that's really old to be in a war!
I had "Kid" soldiers who were youger than my sons! I could also outlast many of them on a mission...
"Oh Sarge...it's so hot...I can't make it." They'd say.
I'd say: "well, I guess you're going to die...we'll split your gear so don't worry about that."
