This kind of protest makes no sense to me. Surely, all have a right to their opinion, but how is it logical to take the same constitution they use to voice thier displeasure to demand the rights of another be denied? They are standing in the wrong city talking to the wrong group of people. Again, that's their right. One man's rights end where another's begin...

Hope,
I live near Bizerkly, CA...and let me tell you...hippies are alive and well there. We have alot of them where I work too...I laugh when they say the police are too whatever....but when they become a victim of a crime, they are crying for the cops to save them.
If you don't like the Marines, the next time you get attacked--- call a hippie!

I don't mind the hippie, I mind someone telling another group they have no right to be someplace. It could be umpahlumpas and skinheads for all I care.

You are right, attitudes would change if we were having to deal with a war fought here in this country.

This just doesn't make any sense. WTF are they thinking? They make us reasonable hippies look bad. Morons!

Karen- they are exercising their right to free speech. Which many folks like Marines help maintain for them. I think you are an adorable hippy...lol.
